The Gelato Asia Cup took place from 22 to 25 October 2024. This biennial competition is valid for the Asian qualification for the renowned Gelato World Cup, the Gelato World Cup that takes place in Italy every two years and will see its 11th edition at Sigep in Rimini in January 2026.

Regional pastry, gelato and dessert professionals gathered in Singapore to compete for the top three positions and have the opportunity to represent the region at the Gelato World Cup. The competition aims to provide a competitive environment that encourages ice cream, pastry and dessert professionals to hone their craft while showcasing their creativity and innovations in ice cream making.

Supervising the selection were AGC Chief Judge Sergio Colalucci – President of the World Cup of Ice Cream and Judge Sergio Dondoli from the World Cup of Ice Cream Committee.

On the Podium:

1st Place: Japan
2nd Place: Singapore
3rd Place: South Korea

These teams demonstrated extraordinary skill and creativity, impressing the judges with their unique flavours and innovative techniques.
