12 nations, 1 world champion team
Founded in 2003, the Gelato World Cup is the biennial team event that celebrates the excellence, creativity, and passion of the world’s best artisanal gelato professionals.
It takes place at SIGEP WORLD – Rimini, and the 12th edition will take place in January 2028.
Each edition welcomes 12 international teams, selected through national and continental trials that take place in the two years preceding the competition.
Each team is made up of gelato maker, pastry chef, and chef, led by a team manager.
A one-of-a-kind competition: teams compete in 9 spectacular tests that test technique, taste, aesthetics, artistic vision, and teamwork, ultimately winning the coveted title of Gelato World Champion.
The Gelato World Cup is a project by Gelato e Cultura, organized in collaboration with SIGEP WORLD.
