GELATO WORLD CUP - 12TH EDITION - RIMINI, ITALY - JANUARY 2028
Two new competitions have been added to the competition categories. A true test of skill in which professionals must create a unique gelato flavor served in a cone using ingredients freshly extracted from the “Mystery Box.” This competition highlights the true skill of gelato makers, capable of creating excellent, well-balanced gelato while only learning about the products inside the Mystery Boxes, selected from among the world’s finest, shortly before the competition.
The teams pitted their professional skills in six competitions: decorated cups for table service, gelato cake, cone skill test, entrée paired with gastronomic gelato, artistic ice and chocolate pieces for buffet presentations, and, new this year, chocolate gelato miniatures weighing no more than 40g, with a 10% tolerance (more or less).
The universe of Leonardo Da Vinci was the theme of the entries from the French team, which once again made the podium.
The members of the winning team 2014 are:
